2009-2018 Dodge Ram 1500 1/2 Ton Pickup 2WD & 4WD - "Air Lift 1000" Air Helper Springs [REAR]

I am extremely impressed with the 1000 pound airbags. Easy to install and makes towing trailers and hauling loads safer and a more comfortable ride. very easy to install with hand tools which somewhere save my time .Awesome product!!

I purchased the Air Lift 1000 airbag kit for my 2014 Ram 1500 Sport 4wd. The online puchase was simple and easy and arrived within a few days. This kit was to supplement a 3" leveling kit on my truck in order to avoid sagging issues towing an 8,000 pound travel trailer the wife recently purchased. I'm disabled and in my 50's but with a pry bar and a can of WD40 I was able to install the bags with the rear of the truck on Jack stands without removing the tires in roughly 4 hrs from start to finish...the bags work phenomenal and do what they are intended to. I use an Air Hawk portable handheld battery powered unit to fill the bags. I run approximately 10-15 pounds when unloaded and 25-30 when loaded or towing.. I've recommended to many people and two close friends have already purchased and installed them.

This is the third set of air bags I have bought for you . First was 2005 tundra second 2013 tundra. And now the Dodge Ram. I have had zero problems with the air lift products. I ha e recommend them to several of my friends. Outstanding product I will never own a truck without putting them in. Thanks for a great product that does what it says it will do.

Not as good as I had hoped. i will not got the order on time first of all . leakage problem also and the product was not very good quality as they committed .

Actually one of the bags got a hole rubbed in it gettin the coil spring

The air lift kit was easy to install and made a big difference pulling my fifth wheel trailer. When I am not hauling anything I can get the smooth ride back. Was well worth the money.Well done team as you really helped, and thanks to your technical team also for great support.

I have a 2010 Ram 1500 4x4 that I use to pull my travel trailer. The trailer weighs Im guessing around 7500. The truck was fine, but when I added the needed firewood in the bed of the truck it sagged too much. So I did a little online research and found that these Airlift1000s were highly recommended and wouldnt break the bank. So I ordered them. Install was easy. Took probably 1.5 hrs with a beer break. I put 30lbs of air in them before loading camper and fire wood and the truck sits level. Love these. I even got a close friend to add them to his 2012 Ram for when towing a boat with the golfcart in the back. He loves the Airlift1000 as well. Great product. Highly recommend

So far so good. They were a little hard to squeeze with my old hands but got them installed. They do just the job I wanted. I highly recommend the product to all my friends .thank you sd truck

So far so good. Only complaint is stiff ride.otherwise this air Air Helper Springs is fine for my truck.

So far so good. I installed them in my driveway. I only lifted one side of the truck at a time. It would of been easier if I had lifted the entire rear end with both tires hanging. The clamps are small squeeze type and break easy. I had to hook both bags to one schrader valve because I broke too many clamps. I used a brass T fitting instead of the plastic one provided. I did not see the plastic one lasting very long. I used a lot more zip ties than what the kit came with. Those are the reasons I only gave four stars. Now for the good. I keep the bags at five psi. Five psi does not change the ride height of my truck at all. The bags have not lost any air pressure. The bags have been onI have towed trailers with only five psi. I tow my 18 foot camper with 15 psi. The bags work great. My Ram has existing holes my the spare tire jack that work perfect for the schrader valves. I can still acsess them with a long air chuck. I put the air line in wire loom for protection

Have them on both of my Ram 1500 4x4 they do the job as the factory springs are to soft if you pull a loaded trailer or put weight in the bed. I have these and Bilstiens instl.

Everything was as expected. They worked great but had a leak after 3 months. They sent me one new bag and I replaced it. Has worked fine every since. Thanks

These were a great fix for my 2016 1500 Dodge Ram truck. They were easy to install (a little muscle helps) after removing the rim and tire for access to the springs. The hard part is working them into the springs but fairly easy to do. Then just run the air lines to a easy access location. I put mine in the metal above the bumper and below the tailgate. Hidden enough to avoid hitting it but still accessible. I think I have around 5-7 psi in mine, so almost nothing. A small hand air pump would work. They add the support I wanted and the ability to air up for heavy loads.

Hauled some railroad ties after install st 30 psi... all was well. I bled the bags off when I was done. The next time I tried to blow them up with a load of mulch the passengers bag was blown out. Not worth my time to install a replacement or warranty the bag. It kind of sucked getting them jammed through the coil spring and I had the truck on a hoist for installation.

Just what the doctor ordered. Our Ram 1500 was definitely soft in the rear end with our Nash travel trailer coupled to the truck. 20PSI of air in the airbags takes all the sponginess out of the suspension and still provides a good ride. The first set was fairly challenging to install with cool temperatures and using a floor jack. We later installed the same bags on my son's truck and it went much easier. Good product.

It did not fit our 2015 Dodge Ram 1500 4WD. Ended up having to spend more money.

I just want to say that I am very impressed with my helper air bags. They help me level my truck out when I’m pulling my camper. It gives me the extra support for my truck when I’m hauling my camper or anything that I need. They are great and I would recommend them to anyone!!

Great price but install is nowhere near as easy as it looks or is written. Air springs were kept at the recommended pressure and still managed to get caught in the spring a have holes torn in them.

Great product! This is my second truck I've installed these on, first was a 2015 Dodge Ram 1500 and then a 2018 Dodge Ram 1500. They were easy to install, about 1 hour in my driveway. Took the sag right out when hauling my 32 ft travel trailer. Also bought and installed the Air Lift Load Controller II - Air Compressor System. They work great as a team.

I use the Air Bags on my 2015 Ram 1500 , towing my 27 Camper and my RF-18 . These bags work great eliminating unwanted sag . If pulling my Camper a short distance and don't bother with the Weight Distribution set up they work just great .

Works as promised. I use the when towing my camper with my ATV in the truck bed. Does a great job of smoothing out the road and keeping my truck level. I had the put on at my local shop and they had to remove the springs to get them installed. It was winter time and cold and I would rather they took the time and install them correctly and not damage them trying to get them folded and put into the coils spring. Defiantly recommend them to others. Lifetime warranty is great peace of mind.

For the money you can't beat them they are great install is very easy

This worked exactly as advertised. When towing a loaded three horse trailer my trucks back end would sag. After installing the kit I towed the next week and it fixed the sagging problem and I felt the ride was better. One hint on the installation is to search the internet for installing the kit on your exact truck model. I found a review that had a helpful tip in removing the fender guards to ease access to the springs for installing on my RAM. That tip saved me much angst in the installation.I highly recommend this product!

Love this product worked good for my truck. Towed my trailer like a dream
