After getting recommendations from mybmechanic, a farmer, and a couple of teenage boys, I purchased the air bag springs for my F-150 4x4 truck so that I could haul my pop up slide in camper. The camper weighs about 1200 lbs. I used 50 lbs in the bags and pumped my rear tires up and it was awesome. I love these air bags! I didn’t even know the camper was on my truck! I highly recommend both the air bags and SD Truck Springs! Customer service was great! Installation was easy (for my nephew to do!) It’s easy to pump the bags up and release the air. Trust me, you need these air bags!

Very easy to install. 1hr 30mins id say not rushing it. Very easy to monitor the air pressure I mounted the fill valves to my hitch so they are out of sight. I’d buy these again.

This kit was very easy to install. It was a night and day difference on the ride and the ability to level your truck which towing a heavy load. I did not run the onboard compressor but it is still very easy to access the fill valves.

Easy, clear instructions for installation. All parts were easy to identify. Installation procedure was not difficult. Steps from beginning to end were simple to complete with no difficulty.

Air Bags for my 2013 F150 are superb. Pulling a 26', 6300 lb travel trailer at 15 PSI in Air Bags. Rides great, stabalized the truck exceptionally well. Put pressure down to 5 PSI when I have no load on the truck. I use the normal air nipple system installed at the rear licence plate, with no inboard air compresse. I use a little 12v tire compresser that works very well. Very pleased with the Air Bags, great investment.

The Air Lift compressor works as advertised. It is easy to use for adjusting air bag pressure. It took a long time for me to decide where to install it because I did not want to drill large holes in my 2012 F-150 truck or have the control in a spot that I would hit it with my leg on the drivers side on another person on the passenger side. I wanted to keep the compressor inside to avoid road dirt. I ended up installing it under the rear passenger seat with the control under the seat facing forward. I just have to be stopped and reach back under the seat for adjustments. But at least I didn't mess up the dash area. I ran the power line inside under the molding to the fuse compartment. None of the fitting provided worked with the mini fuses so I rigged up a spade lug to fit the fuse base. I can't install a fuse but with the other inline 1A fuse the compressor is protected. The air bags work as advertised but the whole thing is better with an on-board compressor for ease of pressure adjustments. Assembly was not complicated overall but installation of the bolt backer plates in the frame was difficult and time consuming. A second person is required for assembly of the plates to the frame, and the plates themselves need to be redesigned. I believe a longer handle is needed to insert the plate and work it around to the right spot. I was working it with the tips of my fingers and dropped it several times. I think this part took longer than the rest of the assembly.

The air bags I bought for my 2010 f150 worked beautifully, it gave to stability I needed to tow my 30' travel trailer,and they were really easy to install. I would recommend these to anyone

Im so glad I added these bags to my truck. It has made a huge difference in my towing. They were very straight forward I would say on a scale of 1-10 I would give the installation a 7.5 on the difficulty scale. Luckily I had a buddy who has installed them before to help me. They were a great value. I also added a compressor unit and that has made my life even easier. Highly recommend these products.

Awesome product! Easy to install on the F-150. Purchased them because I did not like the way my 35' Travel trailer squatted the truck even with a weight distribution hitch. I would get a lot of popping on the sway bars. Gas mileage suffered because of the drag. With the bags installed and 50 psi in each, the truck sets level and the stress on the hitch assembly is gone, no more popping. Gas mileage has increased 3.2 mpg and I don't feel like the truck is dragging or working as hard. Best $300+ I have ever spent. highly recommend this product!

Air bags on my 2010 F150 fit great. They do all I expected them to do. I had to alter my 5th wheel hold downs a little, but then they went on fine. Well pleased with product. The hold my truck level even with my Lance pickup camper on it.

For the 09-14 ford F150 this heavy duty air bag is the best, easy install and high quality. SD Springs is the best site i have used for Springs, Air bags, and compressors. Consistently good prices / promotions and the fast shipping rocks!

I just installed these on my 4x4 F-150 about 3 weeks ago & I pulled my 30' bumper pull camper 320 miles with no weight distribution bars & it had an amazing ride & sit perfectly level with 70 lbs. of air. I did still use the sway bar on it though. The only bad part about installing them is figuring out where you want to mount your gage inside the cab & how to run your hoses & wires. Also the T brackets that you have to put on the inside of the frame to srew the bracket to the frame is kinda aggrivating, but other than that the rest of the installation is quiet simple. The kit comes with more than enough hose I had a lot left over for spare. I'm very pleased with them & if I ever get rid of this truck my next one will have them too!!!!!

These Air Bags work great, they were easy to install. They make towing my camper much more enjoyable.

I think every pickup should have these installed on them at the factory. I absolutely love them and use them every day weather I am pulling one of my three trailers..

By far the best upgrade I've added to my f150 screw. I only have to add 30 lbs. to adjust the rear height when towing my 27' travel trailer. Did a 1,700 mile trip towing it last summer and the ride was perfect!! I opted out on having the onboard air compressor and bought a mini Husky plug in compressor and the cord reaches all the way out to my license plate where I have my air intakes mounted.

I am quite satisfied with this product.it levelled my truck to give me better control while pulling my fifth wheel.easy installation.would highly recommend to others

Set up is not a great design. Truck bottoms out way to easy and the bags must have 40-50 PSI in them or they will bottom out.

The product works fine. Installation on the second pickup (I traded) worked much better after I bent the tail on the "in-frame nuts" 90 degrees and cut off the long U-bolts that hold the bottom portion to the spring. As supplied, the U-bolts hit the upper brackets when you hit a bump. (These tips could be included in the instructions.)Because they raise the back of the 4 X 4 higher, I removed the raising blocks from between the spring and axle. This brings the box height closer to the original height.

The Firestone air bags that I purchased for my ford truck to support pulling my 5th wheel trailer has done everything I expected. They stabilize my ride and equalize the weight on my rear axel. I have been very satisfied with my purchase.

I put the Ride-Rite Air Bag helper springs on my F150 to maintain a level ride when towing my 2014 Cougar Xlite 30' travel trailer. The air bags work as advertised and with my limited abilities as an auto mechanic, I was able to install them myself. They not only allow me to level my truck and trailer when hooked up, I have noticed I do not get the bounce when pulling my trailer that I did without the Ride-Rite Air bags.

I have used these on my last truck. They will keep your truck level or even a little raked when towing.

EXCELLENT PRODUCT!! I purchased the Firestone Ride Rite 2525 for my 2012 Ford F150. The kit arrived within 3 days. I'm no mechanic and I installed the air bags system by myself within 3 hours. (SD Truck Springs has an excellent YouTube video that shows how to do the install) The air bags did exactly what I was looking for. Increased trailer control, better ride/handling, and it took out the sag from the 880 lb. tongue weight from our travel trailer. My next purchase with SD Truck Springs is an onboard air compressor for my Ride Rite air bags.
