Description
Ride-Rite air helper springs are the workhorse of Firestone's air helper spring line. The double convoluted air springs offer maximum load capacity as well as years of worry-free service and support.
This kit WILL WORK with dually models as well as any 1 Ton ram with an in bed hitch.
Ride-Rite air helper springs are installed between the frame of your vehicle and the suspension, providing load support by using air pressure.
Many of our Dodge customers will use the air springs to support loads from horse trailers, toy haulers, campers, and/or heavy hauling.
Firestones air springs have become synonymous with quality, durability, and customer support that is second to none. Ride-Rite air bag kits utilize a pair of convoluted air springs which can be adjusted to accommodate your load capacity. The Ride-Rite series is capable of 3,200 - 5,000 lbs. of load level capacity. After installed, your ride will be enhanced by reducing inter-leaf friction which will keep your truck level, reduce suspension fatigue, and increase the stability of your Dodge vehicle.

I did not install it myself. I paid a mechanic $350 to install the airbags and on board compressor. Only problem they had was finding a place to mount the compressor switch on my new RAM truck. There is nowhere to mount it where it can be seen while driving. It has to be mounted under the edge of the drivers seat near the door. Other than that I guess they work fine. Since I had them installed before ever pulling my 5th wheel toy hauler I don't know what the difference would have been. I just wanted the extra support for towing a heavy load.

Do not get good service from sir springs. Will not hold air. Looked up and use soapy water and sprayed on all connections and did not find a leak, but leak down when not used, on board compressor kicks in every time started up engine. Called SD and read where had so many days return and they would not even talk to me.would have to go to Firestone and try to get it looked at under warranty. I asked what a out the return if not satisfied. You can not do that if installed. This was not mentioned when ordered but ask asked about this when ordered and told do not like can return no questions ask

They were easy to install, the instructions were easy to follow.
All the parts fit perfect,I did not have to modify anything. I wish that it had a tee for
the air lines.

Simply Awesome!! Easy install, simple to adjust, easy to maintain, best investment I have made for pulling a 15,000lb 5th wheel trailer...... no more bouncing down the road. Way better stopping!!

I am very pleased with my air bags. I have 2 trucks on the road both of them have them . I would not pull without them. They were easy to install took about 1 hour. Truck sits level at all times and does not sway. I tell others that are in the same business that it is a good ivestment. It saves on drive line wear.

Very good quality product. They are just what I needed to level my truck when pulling my 5th wheel trailer. These are my second set of ride rite air bag helper springs. I highly recommend them.
