When installing the Flexiride system, welding the base plate to the frame is one of the first steps taken to ensure for a proper yet effective installation. If the system you chose does not include a base plate, you will have to purchase one separately but, don't worry, the base plates are categorized by load amount and are easy to install once you choose the correct one.
