so far so good. Hellwig springs are made to increase the "level-load" carrying capacity of my vehicle, really helpful loved the services and will use in future also.Thank you team.
These were very easy to install, probably taking about 1 hour total. I put these on my 2016 Silverado 1500 crew standard box Z71 in December 2016. These reduced the squat by 2 inches when hooking my V nose trailer to it. The truck does ride stiffer but this is a truck...if I wanted soft I would have bought an SUV. I just tightened up the springs this fall after contacting Hellwig about the max setting. I have the springs set 2" from the factory springs to get the most out of them. I originally had the Timbren spacers in and that wasn't working, those caused a harsh ride. I wish I had done the springs before the bumpers because they solved the problem. I would suggest if you live in an area where they blast the roads with salt or other harsh chemicals for snow removal to cover the U bolt threads with never seize or other anti-rust/seizing product. I didn't and it took all I had to loosen the nuts with my 1/2" breaker bar. The springs appear to be holding up so far to the NY wi
I purchased these helper springs for my 16 Sierra 1500, they work great while towing my bass boat and with a load in the bed ( 4 wheeler) stopped the factory sagging when loaded and towing. love the look now great product works as it should easy install to.
Good product and easy installation. The installation took less than 30 minutes...there was even a video that showed how easy it was. Overall good product
Helper Springs Worked out great!
Great set of Helper Springs. Put an 4 ton trailer (800 Lb. tongue weight)on the hitch and the truck stayed level. Only a slight stiffening of the ride without a load on the hitch. Towed like the trailer was glued to the truck.
I am very pleased with the Quality of the Helper Springs Pro series I purchased. They have raised the height of my Pick-up truck and allow it to better handle the extra load of tools that I carry around in my service truck. Regards, Steve Kaiser
These Hellwig worked out great, simple & easy to install. They leveled out my 2002 chevy perfectly I have a leer camper shell and tool boxes in back, there is enough threads to give enough adjustment. I've towed a trailer with a 1952 chevy 3/4 ton truck on it and had no problem... Give them a try you'll love them I do!
Installed on 2000 Chevy to tow a 28 ft enclosed trailer & drag car and does the job perfect and if adjusted correct the ride is smooth. Great product for a great price and was very easy to install.
I like the product and it does what it says it will do. I pull a 32 foot toy hauler trailer (bumper pull) behind my 2011 Silverado crew cab, 2WD, 1/2 ton pickup and it makes my truck perfectly level when loaded up to travel. My only issue with the product is putting air in them about every 20 days or so. I have tightened everything and still get bubbles at the valve stems. I do not have the automatic air system, which would air them up for me all the time, but... Other than that, they were a perfect fit for my application/use and the price was affordable. They went on smoothly as I installed them myself.
