The Hellwig 7272 Big Wig sway bar is the new monster sway bar in hellwig's line of load and sway control products. The big wig sway bar is designed specifically for those vehicles like the Dodge Ram 2500, 3500 that undergo more than the average amount of loading and hauling. With it's increased diameter and heavy duty hardware, the big wig is designed to provide at least 20% greater stability.
NOTE: Never load vehicle beyond the manufacturer's maximum gross vehicle weight rating.
Awesome dealing with sd truck sptings, now to the sway bar, I have a heavy arctic fox truck camper with air bags and still had sway issues. After the sway bar, very stable when turning and passing large trucks. Great job hellwig and sd truck springs
I've made many upgrades to my 2500 to haul a 3000 lb plus cabover camper other than new overload springs the big sway bar made the biggest difference. Also upgraded to bilstein shocks. No regrets. Air bags just make the sway worse if there is no resistance. Airbags really are just for levelling the ride front to back.
WOW. thats the first thing i said when i drove off after getting the sway bar installed on my 2012 ram 2500 4x4. For the price, you really get what you pay for, very well put together, my truck is 5-6" lifted and all parts it comes with were enough. Very highly recommend the sway bar for your truck
The Hellwig Big Wig sway bar was easy to install. I haul a 40' fifth wheel rv and the Big Wig takes care of any sway problems I had going down the road.
Our 2010 Dodge Ram 3500 SRW is used for everything: daily driver, pulling our 5th wheel and carrying our Bigfoot truck camper. The truck handled everything well until we put the camper on - then it went around corners like a pig. The PacBrake airbags helped it carry the load, but they do nothing to help cornering, even with separate air tanks for each side. Adding the 1 5/16" Hellwig sway bar buttoned the truck down beautifully. The improvement in cornering is much better, easily offsetting the slightly stiffer ride when empty. Yesterday, I had to make a sudden evasive maneuver while towing our 5th wheel. I was expecting the trailer to affect the emergency maneuver, but the rear of the truck was so well controlled that I simply could not feel the trailer do anything but follow the truck like a puppy dog.
