I installed the 43-1041 Rear 4/1 leaf springs on my ?1996 Coachmen Camper Van M-19 RB which is built on the Ford E250 2WD cutaway body. The 2,775 Lbs spring capacity of these 4/1 springs were a huge improvement over the factory 3/1 2350 lbs capacity springs which came with my E250. The ride is very comfortable and sway is nearly eliminated. My original springs were not cracked, but I was nearly overweight based on the scale weight of my RV without my boat and without full tanks. If you are planning to replace the leaf springs on your van or camper, I highly recommend bringing somewhere to have it weighed empty and then bring it back and have it weighted full to help guide you in your purchase decision. Although I'm happy with the performance gain of the new springs 43-1041 springs, if I had the option to do it again I would have gone with the 6/1 (43-1041HD?) or 9 leaf ?(43-1085) springs for greater capacity.
