2008-2022 Ford E40, E450 - FRONT Sway Bar (1 3/8/" diameter)

I installed these sway bars on a Ford E450 based Class C Winnebago. These have transformed the handling of this vehicle! This motorhome comes from the factory with the stock sway bars, which are completely undersized for a RV of this weight and height. This RV now drives like an SUV and is much easier to handle on the highway and in high winds. Overall a great product, easy to install and very effective.

Easy install. Since installation I have driven it a little over 3,000 and it handles much better. Most of the roll is gone and the wind does not push it across lanes any more.

Night. And. Day.... My 23' class C RV went from a floppy, wallowy mess to a precisely handling machine that is nothing short of joy to drive- big trucks? Cross winds? No problem- sit and enjoy the scenery, no worries-seriously, I can't say enough good things about these sway bars, the difference is amazing-

I installed both front and rear sway bars at the same time on my 2015 Class C Motorhome and Ford E450 Chassis. The upgrade from stock to the Hellwig components is an absolute must do. Roll from side to side on turns is virtually non-existent after installation. Passing, or being passed by trucks is no longer a dreaded experience. The price was fair and shipping was a breeze. Installation was straightforward. I installed mine while lying on my back and found a breaker bar handy to unfasten the stock hardware. Directions were easy to follow. I would rate the installation a 7 in difficulty on a 10 scale primarily because I did mine with wheels on the ground. If you have access to a lift, or have a shop do the install it would take less than a hour shop time to do both. If purchasing a rig from a dealer, I would suggest working the upgrade into the deal prior to ever taking delivery. You will not be sorry!

Easy to install. Helps greatly with stability when turning and eliminates a good bit of the swaying from side winds. Swaying from passing trucks is more manageable but not eliminated. Would give it a 5 if it handled passing trucks better, but overall I am pleased with the purchase.

Replaing the factory sway bar with the Hellwig resulted in a huge improvement in handling.

Big improvement with driving in windy conditions, on my 2017 31XL Jayco E450 motorhome. It was dangerous to drive prior to adding the sway bar and also Sumo 1,000# front helper springs.

The size of the sway bar, hardware,quality bushings all superior quality. Easy to install. Make sure you use locktite on the OEM nuts that hold the links to sway bar. They will loosen up. I also put Hellwig sway bar in the rear. No more sway or (white knuckle driving).

Product was well made and very easy to install, fit was great. Packaging was adequate.

The OEM Bar was a 1 inch diameter bar. this 1 1/2 inch bar made a tremendous difference eliminating almost all sway in the motorhome. I am going to replace the front one also.
