2015-2020 Ford F150 4wd - "Load Lifter 5000" Air Helper Springs [REAR]

Load Lifter 5000 helper springs were not difficult to install and have made a big difference in towing my 32 ft. fifth wheel. The extra support from the air springs when inflated really help to stabilize my entire unit. When first installed I had a slow leak in the fitting on the top of one of the air bags and the company sent a new fitting free of charge that worked perfect. I would recommend them to anyone that needs extra support for their tow vehicle.

They are very well designed. Instruction to install are well put together for your specific vehicle. They do what they are suppose to do the truck rides and handle alot better when you have a load or are towing something. Thanks, Maynard A

The kits were complete and exactly what they were stated to be. I only wish they had a bracket included to mount the compressor under the truck. The 5,000 lb AirLift bag kit comes with lower brackets designed only for the trucks with the factory lift block located between the leaf springs and the axle leaf spring perch. My truck is a crew cab 2018 F-150 4x4 with the 5-1/2' bed which came without the factory lift block. With no load on truck, and at the minimum 5psi that the air compressor maintains, the upper and lower air bag bases have less than 1/2" between them. This makes for absolutely NO suspension travel and a bone-jarring bottoming out of the upper and lower bellows bases. I have to keep the air bags at 25-30 psi to prevent them bottoming out on minor bumps in the road, but at that point they bounce profusely like a low-rider on hydraulics. I would like to get a different air bag kit that mounts to the leaf springs themselves and that doesn't bottom out like this set. Ei

Worked as it should. Simple to install. All parts are there and labeled as should be. I haul a 28 foot enclose featherlight with f150 no more sag @20psi.

Everything was as advertised, no surprises, line up of bolt holes on "bags" was a bit more difficult than expected but overall very pleased with the load lifters. They're pretty stiff, I haven't put more than 10 lbs. in them to adjust for a load. Good product that I recommend.

The kit works great. Much improved ride with 60 psi air for the fifth-wheel and with 5 psi the trucks rides as smooth as before. It installed exactly how it was designed to fit. installed very easily within 2 hours. the quality of the product is very fair . Took me about 2 hours with the use of a friends lift.

Bought these for my 2018 and 2015. Super easy and quick install. Took less than 2 hours. Work amazing. Have yet to loose any air in them and towing they do great. Will buy another set when I get a new truck.

I ordered this product PART #57284 over the phone about a year ago and I remember it being a easy process. I have a 2016 Ford F150 and installed them in 6 Hours on the ground. I pull 8000 lbs twice a year for 1,300 miles each time and performed perfect, I just added air and good to go. I don't have a compressor but mounted the valve stems out the back bumper and it works for me. As a diesel mechanic years prior, this manufacturer was the top of the line for our semi-truck air bags and feel that they still are on top. The only complaint was the valve stem washers and nut are not stainless steel

Not happy with the ride when empty, seem like the jounce bumpers are to long causing a bottoming out feel when going over a bridge. Other than that they work great when towing. Installation was a breeze with very good instructions.

I am very happy with the performance of my airlift kit and compressor. I already am recommending this product to others. Product performed exactly how it needed to perform. The install of the bags was easy. The wiring of the compressor was challenging though. All parts were in the kit. SD truck springs was great! The only negative is that the kit takes away from the stock smooth ride of my truck without a load and with the minimum air in the system.

Hello Rick, I can answer yes to most of your questions above. I would like to send a couple of pictures of the installation as the space the bags have to fit in seems a little tight and may be limiting the range of travel of the rear suspension -sharp dips in the roadway cause a rather harsh bottoming on the rear axle; I wonder if reduce range of travel could be contributing to this

Everything worked good. Only one issue both bags leak down after a week it could be the cold weather. I'll be checking the lines for leaks. I got the package on time and customer care executives are very diligent and helpful .

I thought the installation of my air bags was pretty straightforward and they did function as advertised. They do seem to lose air when I try to set them below 8 pounds even though I cannot detect any leaks.

The kit carries the extra wt. of my side x side well! But my truck rides way to rough when not loaded.There is just not enough space for the airbags between the frame and axel I need something to lift the frame to increase the space between the frame and axels or some other solution. not that much satisfied with this item . I was very excited when I revived this air lift system I also purchased the wireless compressor. The install wasn’t as bad as I expected. But I would never recommend this product for a Ford F-150, it makes my pickup bounce so badly and when there’s only 5 psi in it it will bottom out the air bags on normal bumps. It has made my ride very poor and will be removing this kit. I hope to hear for the seller and the manufacturer to see if they are willing to do anything about it. Definitely not something I would recommend.

This is my second air bag set for my second F-150. The first worked perfect, the second has already been removed because the travel on these bags is to short. With 10 psi if I drive over a bump in the road it would bottom out and was extremely uncomfortable. I do not recommend these air bags.

Really like theses things hauled my camper trailer this weekend makes it so much smoother and all around solid pull. Did have a problem with on of the bolts looked liked it was machined wrong but found a different one at the hardware store so other than that very happy with everything!!

This kit was very easy to install on a 2016 F150. We pull a 3 horse trailer and a boat with this truck and the Load Lifter 5000 does exactly as it should. It levels the vehicle, reduces sway, and maintains a nice ride. I would purchase again.

I use these almost daily for my 2017 f150. I rent out three different travel trailers and these are very easy to use and work great with my truck. Very nice and stable ride when loaded. Install directions are very detailed and I put them on within 1.5 hours or so. this is the 2nd set I've had and would recommend them to anyone.

I give these bags a rating of two stars. The only reason it gets the extra star is when the truck is hooked to a trailer, the air ride worked well. The other 80% of the time that I was unhooked from a trailer, the ride was so rough that it made a 2015 f150 ride like a solid spring, 1980's, one stack Mack with a window in the back, dump truck. It was literally so bad that no one wanted to ride with me including myself. I tried every possible air setting possible and it all boils down to where they mount in between the frame rails and the axle. They just don't have enough room to work and they are constantly compresses in some way exaggerating the jounce of the vehicle. I have withstood enough kidney pain to uninstall them and they are now a $380 +or- set of airbags that are sitting under a work bench collecting dust. I will never purchase airbags again for any of my trucks.
