2006 E150 no factory swaybar. Definitely was not a simple bolt on as there were no holes for the mount in the frame and the fuel lines needed to be protected and moved to put a hole in the left side frame rail. With the fuel tank it was very difficult to work in there. With that being said there was a huge difference in the handling of the van. It was worth the trouble and is better than just stiffer springs. It has been on for several months and does squeak even though it was healthily coated with the grease provided. I am going to drill the mount for zerks.
this sway bar worked great! tho, i've since sold this van for an older lower miles van with a larger V8. i have installed a hellwig brand sway bar on this van also and they make a very noticeable contribution to the overall handling. and they really help in cornering abilities. fairly easy install as well. the van i have now also had the firestone ride-rite air bags already installed on it and they also work great! comes in very handy when towing the boat or travel trailer. i would have installed these had the van not already have them. both items would seem very worth the price and ease of installation. i would add that my van has extra wide tires and wheels and is a conversion van. thanks, mitch
