These replaced the stock "Rancho" Ford shocks (which are crap, had one die at ~7K miles) at about 16K miles. They're not soft, but they have the right amount of stiffness to greatly improve the ride quality AND handling under load. I held off ordering because of the clashing colors of all things (I have a blue 2017 F250), hoping they'd go silver body on these too. But I finally took a chance based on my need and other reviews I'd seen, and I'm glad I did. I would absolutely recommend these.
