All Firestone compressors are direct drive compressors (no oil or belts). This means the compressor can be mounted in any position without detriment to the compressor. This unit operates on 12 volts and allows for a 15 percent duty cycle with a maximum air pressure output of 130 psi. The Firestone 9284 also has a has an 20 amp rating and will support up to a 1 gallon air tank.
Compressor works great? It sure is nice to be able to air up or air down my airbags whenever needed from inside the cab.
