I had the air bags in my 2010 ram 1500 and liked them, so I purchased a set for my 2018 Silverado. After going thru the install process, I would not purchase this kit again. The proccess to bolt the bracket to the frame sucks, sorry no better way to put it. I'm sure it was designed so no additional holes need to be drilled, and I was able to do complete it, but ther has to be a better way. The second complaint would be the fit of the passenger side bracket. The bracket was too narrow to fit on the frame and needed to be widened so it would fit. Poor manufacturing. For a Dodge, I would recommend this kit, the Silverado kit is garbage.
I bought this kit originally for my 2011 Silverado a year ago and didn't end up installing on that vehicle. I ended up trading in for a 2015 Silverado with the bigger motor to pull my 29 ft.travel trailer. It was nice being able to install it on the newer truck. Install was easy enough and exactly as prescribed. It only took me a little longer as I had to cut out material from the wheel well liners to accommodate the air lines. The support from the bags is good. The air lines do not leak at all 6 months after install which was one of my greater concerns. I use a small portable compressor and these inflate very quickly. I have already recommended these to others. Thanks to SD Truck springs for their good support and great prices!

I purchased the AirLift Ride control kit and the AirLift Load Controller II kit for my 2012 Silverado 4WD. The products did exactly what I wanted them to do! I tow a 27FT travel trailer and a 18FT cargo trailer. Running 60 psi in the rear bags takes nearly all of the bounce out of towing and makes the overall ride tons smoother! Total time to install both the air bags and compressor system by myself was about two hours and very simple. I have recommended this to friends and to anyone who is wanting a simple to install setup that will greatly stabilize your overall towing situation. Well worth the money! SD has the best pricing when I was shopping and excellent customer service!
I bought this to help level out my Silverado 1500 while towing my 25ft bumper-pull RV. The install was easy and painless. I bought a small 12V compressor on Amazon to inflate, works great! I use 60-65psi in each bag when pulling the RV. Not only does this product level the truck and make it more stable, it also improved the ride! I wish I would have bought this years ago!
incorrect bolts included: carriage bolts included were not carriage type (just plain threaded even though they fit into a square hole) - ALSO the hardware included is jank for the air valve - if you live anywhere in the midwest the washers and nuts securing the air valve will rust right away - they do not include stainless steel hardware - rip.
Install was straight forward. Product works as advertised. Only problem encountered was only 2 Nylon nuts were included. I had to furnish my own for the thru frame bolts and u-bolts. :(
The air bags and compressor do everything I need th to do. I'd buy them again and have recommended them to others.
