Coil-Rite air helper springs are designed to fit inside existing coil spring suspensions creating a variable rate spring. These air helper springs are made of durable, elastic polyurethane providing years of comfort and stability to your vehicle.
Firestones Coil-Rite air helper springs enable adjustment for varying loads and road conditions by inflating or deflating the air helper springs. Spring performance can be adjusted just as easily as you would adjust the air level in your tires. The air springs will support 500 - 1,000 lbs. per set.

The air bags work well.. they don't keep full air pressure as long as I would like (I have to bring them up to 35 psi each day) but they keep the mini-van from bottoming out when it's fully loaded. They were difficult to install, as they go inside the coil spring on the rear axle. I believe I had to remove the spring to get them in. The installation is not for the "faint of heart." I've installed this type of unit on two of my pickup trucks and both of them were easier because of the leaf springs where the bag installed between the spring and the axle.
