Q: I think I'm in need of new leaf springs for my 2000 Jeep Cherokee but I dont know which leaf springs I have. Can you help me figure this out? A: Indeed I can, In order to identify what leaf springs your Jeep uses you need to locate your OEM Number. The 97-539 Rear Leaf Spring works with Jeep Cherokee's anywhere from 1984-2001 and the oem number for this spring would be 52000545AB 545 LL
Q: Does the front spring ship with the rear as well? A: Most of the time, leaf springs are sold individually due to the fact that different spring codes exist for front and rear springs. This specific item offers one rear leaf spring for the 1984-2001 Jeep Cherokee with 4 leaves in the pack.
Q: How much weight can these springs handle? A: The spring capacity for the 97-539 front spring is 745 lbs.
Wow! Really improved my 99 Cherokee XJ ride! Springs were definitely needed. SD also recommended Bilstein shocks for the rear, and it's the best ride ever! Some issues with shipping, but SD sent me a "sorry package" of a tshirt and car care kit. Great customer service, so I'll be back!
Wonderful pricing, Direct fitment, Arrived to my shop fairly quickly, Restored original ride height and Customer was completely satisfied.
Ordered leaf springs and U bolt kit. Springs came fast and were the correct part. No complaints on the springs at all. The U bolt kits arrived without nuts and washers. SDTrucksprings.com made good and sent the missing parts right away. The only complaint is that the U bolts were the wrong size entirely. I would suggest measuring original and double check prior to ordering. I will do business with SDTruckspring.com again.
the springs fit great, but raised the rear of my jeep a full inch. had to buy spacers to fix the problem.
They when in relatively easy and they do what leaf springs do.
Fit perfectly. Good fix for the suspension on my Jeep Cherokee.
