A Lasting Impression from the 70's Highlighted Buick Classics The Buick Apollo was manufactured between 1973 and 1975. This compact vehicle was named for the Roman god Apollo. Many features included side moldings that had chrome colored highlights, chrome around the side windows and large front bumpers that would add protection to your vehicle. There were no antennas with the Buick Apollo, only two wires that were inserted between the layers of glass of the front windshield. The Apollo (1973-1979) features 5 leaves and a width of 2 1/2. Get that feel back from the first time your drove your Buick Apollo and replace the leaf springs. The Buick Skylark was first introduced in the 1950's during the 50th anniversary of Buick. The Skylark has a successful production run with over 1,690 units produced. Back then, this was considered to be great. The first Skylarks were all produced as convertibles and with a V8 power. As generations of Skylark were produced, Buick would improve on the Skylark and introduce the four door sedan in the 60's. As your car ages, so does the leaf springs. You loose that feeling you once had when you would drive you Buick Skylark around town.
