What is included in a Dodge Truck Tuff Country Lift Kit?
Most Dodge Ram kits include coil spring spacers made of 1/4" steel that are designed to lift without sacrificing ride quality. These coil springs also install with all engine configuration including diesel engines. All 3” and above Ram lift kits will include track bar relocation brackets along with upper and lower control arms with poly bushings. Early Dodge suspension lift kits will utilize Tuff Country’s exclusive “EZ-Ride” leaf springs which provide a quality lift without the harsh ride.
Should I replace my shocks during installation?
The answer is yes. While installing your lift kit it is usually recommended that you replace your factory shocks to go with your new lift kit. Especially since your factory shocks may not reach the existing shock mounts. This can happen because during installation you will be extending the travel of your factory shock to the point that it won’t reach.
I am just looking to level out my Dodge Pickup, will a Tuff Country Lift Kit help?
The answer is yes. Most Tuff Country Lift Kits for the Dodge pickup will level out your truck. For example, tuff country 34003 (4.5" lift 03-13 Ram 2500/3500) will give you 4.5" of lift in the front and 2" in the rear. This will level out your Dodge truck. Some kits will not level your truck like the tuff country 32913 (2" / 03-14) which will only lift the front and rear 2". So it is important to check the amount of lift when getting a kit.
Is there a warranty on the lift kits?
