What is Severe Service?
While searching for the right Timbren SES Kit for your truck you will notice some of the products will say severe services. These are products that are designed for pickup trucks that are used in one of the following way: Slide in Camper, Slid in Salt or Sand Spreader, Dump Body or Tow Truck Body and Aerial Device. These assemblies will generally come with a single convolution rubber spring. This anti twist rubber spring will provide a better stability and longer life than the standard set. When a standard set is used in the applications, failure may occur due to the high center of gravity and the excess sway. Often the rubber springs will twist and can be lost.
