The 5100 series receiver hitches by Pro Series easily mount to the frame of your vehicle and offer both 2" and 1 1/4" receiver tube openings. Pro Series hitches are categorized by specific year, make and model of the applicable vehicle and are grouped into classes based on their weight capacity ratings. Below you will find the different classes and the advantages specific to each one.

Class I Receivers

• 1-1/4” square receiver opening
• Tow up to 2000lbs
• Used for light loads, bike racks, cargo carriers

Class II Receivers

• 1-1/4” square receiver opening
• Tow up to 3,500 lbs
• Used for light loads, small trailers

Class III Receivers

• 2” square receiver opening
• Tow up to 5,000 lbs
• Used for moderate loads such as campers and boats

Class IV Receivers

• 2” square receiver opening
• Tow up to 12,000 lbs
• Used for moderate loads such as RVs and large boats

Class V Receivers

• 2 ½ or 2” square receiver opening
• Tow up to 18,000 lbs
• Commercial and industrial applications and large recreational vehicles
